Activator Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments aren’t all done by hand. Dr. Stephanie also uses an instrument called an activator to deliver quick, low force adjustments. She especially likes to use this on children, the low back of pregnant women, extremities and on anyone who doesn’t like the “cracking” sound that typically comes with adjustments or neck adjustments.
“I started seeing Dr. Stephanie at the recommendation of my midwife,…
…around 30 weeks, to try and prevent my current pregnancy from having a breech baby (as my first child was). I had been to a chiro many years ago and I was shocked at how detailed and personalized the initial intake was. I feel a big difference in my back and hips and feel so much more balanced and prepared for birth. Their office is also very child-friendly, which is a MAJOR saving grace for any busy mama or those with childcare struggles. They know your name (and even your kiddos) as soon as you walk in the door. I’d highly recommend them to anyone, but especially anyone pregnant and hoping to feel better.”
